The best site of Linux software is Ibiblio (formerly Sunsite and Metalab).
The best Linux distribution, if you don't fear to wet your feet is Slackware.
If you want news, try Newsforge for nice reports on what's going on, by the same guys (OSDN) that bring us Sourceforge, or Linux Today for a news summary.

Some places where to find tcl/tk code, docs and other information:

If you enjoy books like me, Amigos do Livro is a nice site to visit. It features my bookbinding article, as well!

Other sites that links to Adventures in Linux Programming:

The Comunidade Neurix is one of the few brazilian sites that link to our Adventures. Thanks Leonardo!

There are some good Linux sites in Brazil now (June/2002). I like .BR (ponto BR), Linux in Brazil, and TcheLinux .

You may want a large image of my logo (Sherlock Tux), or go to Ewing's page for the original Tux drawing and some nice explanations on how he have done it.
