About myselfI'm graduated physicist, but since 1974 I've been working with computers and digital electronics. I decided to change to Linux the first time I hear about it. I used to program in Msdos/Windows before and have spent very much time disassembling msdos code to figure how to program with it. Never more... You may find my resume here as a gzipped postscript file, or look at the index for a smaller html version. I used to live in a country house near Recife, northeast of Brazil. I have built at a side of my house a small office/lab where I work most of my time, doing consulting in FPGA design, industrial controllers, and systems programming. Unfortunatelly, bandits made me change my mind. Now we live in downtown Recife. I've lost my large lab building for a small room in an apartment. The advantages are here is safer, and on the good side I have a good ADSL connection to the net. I have a friend that takes care of who enter of leave my office. It's name, Dr. Freud, is because of it's pyschopathological behavior. Of course, it did not like penguins, but otherwise is very friendly. Open source software helpingI really feel Open Source is the right thing to do. That's why, when I find something wrong (a bug), I try to fix it myself and send the results to the author. Some software I have helped, mostly with small fixes:
This is not a complete list. If you find some other, please send to me. |
